Brent Venables Post Scrimmage Availability 8/15

Defensive Coordinator Brent Venabeles took to Zoom to speak with the media following the Clemson Tigers first fall scrimmage inside of Death Valley on Saturday morning. Venables spoke with the media about replacing a lot of key pieces in one of the top defenses in 2019.

The Freshman:
Venables found himself with one of the best defensive recruiting classes in the nation last year. He spoke on some of the new faces on the Tigers defense:

Come January fully expect both Myles Murphy and Bryan Breese to be household names on the defensive side of the ball for the Tigers.

Venables also stated that a few major players did not participate in the scrimmage. Those names include James Skalski, Mario Goodrich and Nyles Pinckney who is slowly returning from a spring injury.

And red-shirt sophomore Mike Jones

Venables sounded very excited about his defense for the 2020 college football season.
