Clemson running back commit made a decision today to forego his senior season and enroll early for the 2021 football season. That is great news.
Another Clemson commitment also made the same decision. Center Ryan Linthicum out of Damascus, Virginia, made the same choice. A former teammate of current Clemson player, Bryan Bresee, Linthicum will join the tigers and get that much needed spring practice which is needed by offensive linemen to acclimate to the next level.
Linthicum is currently ranked 4th in the nation at the center position in the 2021 class and joins OG’s Marcus Tate and Dietrick Pennington in this class. This is the 3rd strong offensive line recruiting class in a row that the Clemson staff will bring in.
The 6-4 275lb center will come in and battle for reps early as current starting center Cade Stewart will graduate. Players competing for the starting position in 2021 will include 2021 sophomores Hunter Rayburn and Mason Trotter. The center position is in good hands for several years.
