Clemson Women’s Basketball Advances to 4-0

On Wednesday, the Clemson Women’s Basketball team faced the Mercer Bears, taking them down 67-54. The Tigers racked up six 3-pointers, went 22-for-58 on field goal attempts overall, and shot 17-for-27 at the free throw line.

Senior guard Shania Meertens led scoring this afternoon, putting 17 points on the board. Redshirt senior guard Delicia Washington followed behind her with 16 points. Lastly, Kendall Spray connected four 3-point attempts, helping keep her title as the NCAA’s active leader in career 3-pointers.

The Tigers have advanced to 4-0 for the season and will next face College of Charleston on December 6th.
