Kwolek Adds Landyn White & Christina Esposito to Lacrosse Coaching Staff

CLEMSON, S.C. – Head Lacrosse Coach Allison Kwolek announced the addition of Christina Esposito and Landyn White as assistant coaches. Esposito is coming off a season in which she helped the Florida program reach the NCAA semifinal, while White was most recently a top performer at UConn, where she earned 2024 Big East Goalkeeper of the Year honors.

“We are very excited to welcome Christina and Landyn to Clemson,” said Kwolek, who will enter her third competitive season with the Tigers in 2024-25. “Christina is highly regarded nationally and knows how to win at the highest level as a player and a coach. She understands our landscape extremely well, and her enthusiasm for the game is contagious.”

“Landyn obviously was a tremendous goalkeeper on three-straight NCAA Tournament teams at UConn, but she also has been coaching at the youth and club level throughout her collegiate career. As an Atlanta native, Landyn already has an understanding of what makes this place so special and will be a tremendous addition to the staff. We’re thrilled to add two women of this caliber to our staff.”

During the 2024 season, in which Florida advanced to the national semifinal with a 20-3 record, Esposito coached the Gator’s offense to 405 goals (17.61 per game), which led the nation, and a draw control unit ranked among the top ten nationally.

Prior to her stint at Florida, Esposito served as an assistant coach at Stony Brook, leading the Seawolves to a 15-4 record and a perfect 7-0 run in the CAA in 2023. Esposito served as the Director and Head Coach of the Long Island Girls United Lacross Club and the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at St. Dominic High School, where she helped the team to its first-ever New York State Championship. Additionally, Esposito served as the Head Coach of the Long Island Jesters 2026 Team, which ranked in the top five club teams in the country during her tenure.

The West Babylon, N.Y. native spent her collegiate career as a five-year letter-winner for the Northwestern Wildcats. Esposito finished her playing career earning IWLCA Second Team All-West/Midwest Region selection, a member of the All-Big Ten Team and was named to the Big Ten All-Tournament Team in her final season, scoring 99 career goals from 2013-17.

White, an Alpharetta, Georgia native, garnered Inside Lacrosse All-American Honorable Mention, USA Lacrosse All-American Honorable Mention, IWLCA All-Northeast Region Second Team, Big East All-Tournament Team, and All-Big East First Team honors in her final season. In her career, White recorded over 700 saves, with 217 coming in her fifth year, which set a single-season program record for UConn.
