As phenomenal as Lawrence is, he is still a freshman and is still going to make freshman mistakes, throwing an interception that would set Georgia Tech up for a touchdown. Lawrence would maintain composure and answer their touchdown with a touchdown pass to Etienne to stretch the Tigers lead 28-7.

Trevor Lawrence came in hot and made some spectacular plays. With every passing game, Clemson family gets a glimpse into what the future holds for the Tigers and the future looks bright. Lawrence shows calmness and composure with every play and is able to bounce back after every mistake. We were able to see Xavier Thomas come into the game and caused pressure on the quarterback. The Tigers were able to play a good many true freshmen today and a handful made huge impacts on the game.
