While the rest of college football is handing out offers like candy and searching the transfer portal to fill the holes they weren’t able to recruit, Clemson plugs along being very choosy with their offers. In a recent twitter post, it was noted that Michigan and Penn State has handed out 500+ offers, LSU and Georgia over 330+ offers, and Alabama 250+ offers. Clemson sits at 84.

The most recent offer is 4-star running back Jeremiah Cobb from Montgomery, Alabama. Cobb, 5-11 186, ranks as the 12th best running back in the 2023 class. He now has 33 offers, and according to one site, is an Auburn lean.

Playing for Montgomery Catholic Preparatory, Cobb had 195 rushes for 2,163 yards (11.1 YPC) and 30 touchdowns. He added 24 catches for 561 yards and 8 more touchdowns.

To date, the Tigers have only offered four running backs, including Cobb. The running back room at Clemson is still young. Kobe Pace (Jr.), WIll Shipley (SO), Phil Mafah (SO) and Keith Adams Jr. (FR) are joined by a handful of walk-ons. This position needs a big time recruit at this position.
