The Clemson Tigers have made the cut for two top prospects recently.
4-star LB Grayson Howard, 6-3 223, from Jacksonville, Florida, released his Top 5 yesterday, including Clemson. The other four listed are Georgia, Texas ATM, Florida and USC-east. Howard is listed as the 68th best player in Florida, and the 29th best linebacker in the 2023 class. Last year, playing for Andrew Jackson High School, he accounted for 157 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and two interceptions. A virtual tackling machine.
Howard cut his list down from 36 offers.
RB Jeremiah Cobb, 5-11 186 from Montgomery, Alabama, cut his list down to 6 today. His list included Clemson, Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee, LSU and Texas. He is currently considered an Auburn lean.
As a junior, Cobb lit it up offensively with 195 rushes, 2,163 yards, and 30 touchdowns on the ground. He also caught 24 passes for 561 yards and another 8 touchdowns. He helped lead Montgomery Catholic to the State Championship game, only to lose by two points.
Cobb is considered the #12 RB in the country and the 18th ranked player in the state of Alabama.
