4-star Linebacker Dee Crayton, Alpharetta, Georgia, has whittled his list down to 5 out of 28 football offers. Clemson made the list along with Missouri, Auburn, Penn State and UCF. Currently, there is no timeline on when he will announce his commitment.
Crayton, 6-2 215, is currently rated as 21st best LB in the country in the 2023 class and 25 best player in the state of Georgia.
He helped lead Denmark High School to an 8-3 record, registering 91 tackles (all solo), 14 tackles for loss and four sacks.
Crayton is one of 13 linebackers offered in the 2023 class for the Tigers. Looking at the numbers, Clemson is looking to solidify the back seven, handing out 30 of their 84 offers towards the linebacker and secondary positions.
Clemson has three commitments so far in the 2023 class; 4-star WR Nathaniel Joseph, 4-star QB Christopher Vizzina, and DE David Ojiegbe.
