Day 3 of Dabo Camp Gallery and Intel

Day three and the final session of the Dabo Swinney camp part 1 came to a close this morning.  As the remaining campers and a few new arrivals worked out on the practice fields adjacent to indoor facility and Reeve’s football facility.

The most noticeable of the campers was easily highy regarded Atlanta (Carver HS) running back JoQuavious Marks.  Marks who has an who’s who of offers list from Alabama, Auburn, Michigan, Ohio St. and all the SEC to the ACC along Big Ten lining up ar Carver high school.   Clemson has yet to offer the Atlanta native.  But the effort he put forth in front of Tony Elliot may just garner that offer before the day comes to an end. As Marks was head and shoulders above the campers in his group.

Another note-worthy visitor was 2020 North Carolina DE Desmond Evans. Who was being ferried around on a golf cart and given the Orange Carpet treatment as he took in the goings on in front of him.

A huge OL prospect was also on campus as Roswell, GA (Roswell HS) offensive lineman Trey Zimmerman was on hand to participate.  Offers from UNC, Louisville, Miss ST, Nebraska, Iowa State and Vanderbilt are out there at present for the impressive big man out of the Peach State. Stay tuned here as it looked like coach Robbie Caldwell was intrigued as he worked the young man out in his offensive line drills.

Newly committed Demonte Capeheart was also on hand again and was today not participating, but hanging out with Clemson DL Jordan Williams and taking in the Defensive Line drills and taking notes on Coach Todd Bates and how he put the campers through their paces.

2020 Offensive Linemane Walker Parks out of Kentucky was on hand for the third day and the lean young man with an impressive frame was again consistent with his drills and especially light on his feet when “pulling”…. Parks showed a very agile and flexible side with quick reaction time, that added to his still growing frame, may have Parks playing right tackle somewhere on the next level for four years.  Louisville, Northwestern, Purdue and Vanderbilt are his early offer list and we expect that list to expand soon. As a matter of fact as I was finishing up this piece Clemson indeed just offered Parks.

Stay tuned.  Next week brings Part 2 of the Dabo Swinney camp and a headline list  of attendee’s are expected to make their way into Tiger Town .  As usual ClemsonSportsNews will be on site and collecting all the intel and info we can.
