Dabo Swinney Camp Day 1 Gallery and Intel

Day 1 of the Dabo Swinney camp is in the books, and the media was allowed access today for the two sessions, and C-S-N was able to collect images of the coaches and some of the current Clemson players putting the campers through their paces.  And we were able to  get images of a few high tier prospects… including Clemson’s newest addition to the commit list Demonte Capeheart, as he worked out with Coach Todd Bates and in front of Coach Swinney and Brent Venables.

The big story was current signee WR  Justyn Ross was on site, 2019 Commit Braylon Spector was showing why he is so highly valued at the WR position as we saw him really show a impressive skill set from initial burst to ball skills.  Very surprising.  We also had the chance to see 6’4 Ze’Vian Capers work out with the WR’s and see Coach Jeff Scott up close put Capers through the drills.  Big body and huge wing span the big wideout looked good.

Also stopped in on the defensive backs and was drawn to Trey Rucker out of Virginia, a thick and very athletic kid that really could bend and turn his hips and showed impressive speed.  Look for Rucker to make a lot of noise in camps he attends.

Then off to QB’s…. and took a minute to take in Chandler Morris (Arkansas Head Coach Chad Morris’ Son) as he is no stranger to the camp and has attended in the past, with the Tiger staff well aware of the 2020 Qb’s abilities and skill set.  Morris has a live arm and is very quick and has excellent mechanics.  The only draw back is the Texas product’s size.

Then it was over to see the newest Clemson Commit, Demonte Capeheart work out in front of coach Todd Bates.  Just like last year when in this same camp Capeheart came out of nowhere and picked up the Clemson offer, and then it was off and running for the Hartsville, SC natives recruitment.  Ultimately ending up here 365 days later with his commitment to Clemson.

Take a look at this shot we got of Coach Jeff Scott as he left his WR group to spend 10 minutes at mid field talking to Adrian Medley and Hunter Rayburn and families.
