Dabo Happy With Offense Following Last Fall Camp Scrimmage


Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney shared his thoughts following the Tigers’ final major scrimmage of fall camp on August 15. He was pleased with the overall performance, particularly highlighting the improvement in the defense and the confidence shown by the offense.


Swinney praised the quarterbacks, stating, “All three of our quarterbacks… have all made steps and have gotten better.” He mentioned that the offense, especially the quarterbacks, took care of the football and did not make any bad decisions. He also noted that the defense created a couple of turnovers and performed much better compared to the first scrimmage.
Swinney emphasized the importance of the scrimmage as it was the last full live day before the team transitions to game preparation for their season opener against Georgia.

He was happy that no one got hurt during the scrimmage and mentioned that the team is in a good spot from a health standpoint. Overall, Swinney was encouraged by the progress and readiness of the team as they head into the season.
