Streeter: Brannon Spector Is A “Warrior”
By: Grayson Mann
For Brannon Spector, the road that took him to where he is today was a road filled with bumps. The 2021 season was especially tough, missing the entire season due to respiratory issues involving Covid-19. Spector has put his head down and went to work, earning the starting role as the slot receiver for the season, which opens up against conference opponent Georgia Tech.
Spector has received praise from his teammates and coaches for his tenacity and plays during fall camp. Here is what Brandon Streeter had to say about his receiver and the journey he has taken to get to this point.
“It is a huge confidence boost for our guys and for DJ, just to see what he has gone through and overcoming some of the adversity health-wise. He has had a great fall camp. He is just a warrior, a very physical and tough kid. I’m really excited to see Brannon out there.”
Streeter had nothing but great things to say about him, and Spector’s play reflects the confidence that has grown within this coaching staff.
Spector looks to help the offense start strong in the opener against Georgia Tech on Monday night.
