North Carolina by the numbers
Here we are with two more home games left in the season. Clemson faces a tough opponent Saturday night when the North Carolina Tar Heels pay them a visit. Clemson is coming off of two wins against Boston College and Pitt. Clemson looks to make a run in the NCAA tournament with a win over the 5th ranked Tar Heels.
Last year, Clemson stunned North Carolina in Littlejohn with a 82-78 win. The Tigers hadn’t won in 10 tries and Brad Brownell and the team are hoping for an electric night similar to that night last year. But players will have to step up in more ways than they have this season according to Brad Brownell.
North Carolina is riding on a four game winning streak after suffering a loss to Virginia back in February. In that four game stretch, the Tar Heels knocked off Duke and Florida State who were both ranked within the top 25.

olina comes into the matchup averaging 87.3 points per game, 42.9 rebounds, 19.4 rebounds and allow their opponents to score on average 73.1 points per game
Offensively, the Tar Heels are led in points by Cameron Johnson. The guard averages 16.7 points per game with a field goal percentage of 51.6%. Coby White leads the Tar Heels in assists, averaging 4.1 per game. Brandon Huffman has the highest field goal percentage of 66.7%.
Defensive wise, the Tar Heels are led by Luke May who averages 10.0 rebounds per game. Cameron Johnson leads the team in steals per game with 1.3 and Sterling Manley leads the team with 0.7 blocks per game.
The Tigers tipoff with North Carolina at 6 p.m. in Littlejohn and will face Notre Dame in South Bend before coming back home for the regular season finale against Syracuse on the 9th.
