Clemson Announces 2021 Spring Schedule
CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Volleyball team is set to continue its 2020-21 season as the Tigers are slated to compete in 20 matches this spring. All dates and times of the competitions are subject to change due to the ongoing threat of COVID-19. Fans should refer to ClemsonTigers.com the most up-to-date schedule throughout the season. Any television or online streaming designations will be announced at a later date(s).
On Jan. 12, Clemson Athletics announced that Jervey Gym will remain under the same operations as the fall season. As a result, the number of permissible spectators inside Jervey Gym will be capped at 250 entrants, limited to student-athlete and staff guests, as well as Clemson students. Face coverings will be required, and seating will be socially distanced within the facility. Those who are listed among the CDC’s at-risk groups are especially vulnerable and should consider staying home and refraining from attending any Clemson Athletic event.
The Tigers went 3-3 against three ACC opponents (Miami, Georgia Tech and Wake Forest) in the fall of 2020 and collected its highest-ranked win in program history in a five-set victory over then-No. 12 Miami on Oct. 8. Clemson’s upcoming spring slate features 12 ACC matchups, which will count towards the 2020 ACC standings. The ACC opted to move to a POD format in which three league teams will compete at one of five designated sites beginning the weekend of March 5.
