Clemson Set to Kickoff vs Miami at 7:30 PM Along with ESPN’s “Gameday” Coming to Tigertown

Clemson Set to Kickoff vs Miami at 7:30 PM
By Makenna Biehl
The ACC has used this season to prove that they genuinely are a competitive conference. A big matchup is coming up as the #1 Clemson Tigers face the #8 Miami Hurricanes on October 10th. The teams will be playing under the lights in Clemson’s Memorial Stadium at 7:30 PM.

The #1 Tigers currently have a record of 2-0 and are scheduled to face the Virginia Cavaliers this upcoming Saturday. The last time the Tigers faced the Cavaliers was last year’s ACC Championship Game, where Clemson won 62-17. The #8 Hurricanes just defeated their rivals, the Florida State Seminoles, to bring themselves to a record of 3-0. They now have a bye week, which will be useful in preparation for facing the Tigers. The last time Clemson and Miami met in Death Valley was in 2010 when the Tigers fell 32-10.

With it being a Top-Ten matchup, it is expected that ESPN’s College Gameday will be headed to Clemson, SC. That would make it Clemson’s 25th time on the show, and Miami’s third time being on it just this season. However, the weekend also features several other Top 25 matchups, including Tennessee at Georgia, Florida at Texas A&M, and Virginia Tech at North Carolina.
