#2 Clemson VS Louisville

Clemson comes into this contest ranked #2 in the first College Football Playoff ranking released on Tuesday. Clemson comes into the game on an 8 game winning streak and also an undefeated mark inside the conference. Louisville showed up in Clemson on a downward spiral sitting at 2-6 overall and 0-5 inside the ACC.
The Tigers got right to work early on taking the opening kick and driving 75 yards in 6 plays with Travis Etienne leading the way with rushes of 35 and a touchdown rush for 10 yards to cap the drive and give the Tigers a quick 7-0 lead with 13:45 left in the opening stanza.
Louisville gets the ensuing kickoff and goes three and out turning the ball back over to the Tigers offense who subsequently take one play as Tavien Feaster blast over the A gap and goes for a TD run of 70 yards to give the home team a 14-0 lead with 12:02 left in the first quarter.
The Cardinal puts together and 8 plus minute drive deep into Clemson territory and air able to manage an FG and get on the board and the Quarters Ends Clemson 13 Louisville 3.
Start of the second quarter the Tigers open it up with a TD pass of 13 yards to Tee Higgins.. extra point is good and the Tigers lead 21-3 as the quarter begins. Clemson pretty much had its way throughout the first half adding a pick-six interception from Isaiah Simmons and another Trevor Lawrence TD pass this time to Amari Rodgers. The defense shut the Cardinals out in the 2nd and the score was 35-3 entering the half.
Coming out of the locker room the Cardinals took the opening kick and went 3 and out. Clemson takes the punt and drives all the way into the red zone and inside the 5-yard line and the “heavy package” is inserted and big Dexter Lawrence scores a touchdown from the backfield and its 42-3 Tigers dominating. Next Louisville series Pass throws an interception to the Tigers Tanner Muse and Clemson is in prime position to score again. The Tigers capitalize on the miscue and score another TD this time its 4 yards out as Tavien Feaster gets his second score of the day. Clemson 49-3 at this point.
The Tigers would go on to add 4 more scores and hold the Cardinals to a late Score on a kickoff return and a late QB keeper for another that amounted to 15 points on the day. Not even close to enough to overcome the 77 the Tigers put up on this day. Final Score Clemson 77 Louisville 15.
On this day the Tigers ran down the hill for the 400th time and walked out of the Valley 9-0 and 6-0 In the ACC headed toward a showdown next week with Boston College on national television at 8 pm!
