Clemson Offers Tampa Athlete With Ties to Clemson

The Clemson Tigers has reached out to another Legacy prospect, offering LB Kobe McCloud, brother of former Clemson WR and now Pittsburgh Steeler, Ray Ray McCloud. The 3-star linebacker becomes the 84th prospect in the 2022 class.


McCloud, 6-1 208, helped lead Gaither High School in Tampa, Florida, to an 11-1 record and into the first round of the 6A playoffs. As a senior, he was in on 70 total tackles, 12 tackles for loss, and one sack. During his junior season, he had 44 tackles and 6 tackles for loss.
The talented linebacker, who also took some snaps at quarterback during his high school career, had previously committed to Florida International University back in August, 2021. Stay tuned for updates on this talented prospect.
