Clemson Hoops Offers Two 2022 Prospects

Clemson basketball opens up today against Mississippi State in the Space Coast Challenge tournament down in Melbourne, Florida. Yesterday, they offered shooting guard Jalen Carruth out of Atlanta, Georgia and Power Forward Kaleb Banks out of Fayetteville, Georgia.

The 2022 guard Carruth recently transferred from Lincoln Academy in Suwanee, Georgia, heading to Bella Vista Prep in Scottsdale, Arizona, and has received two offers early on in his recruitment; Clemson and Xavier. Other Power 5 schools are showing interest in this 6-7 wingman, including Alabama, Georgia, and Florida.

Banks, also a 2022 prospect, is rated a 4-star and has picked up 5 offers to date, including Georgia and Xavier. In his first game this year, Banks had 23 points and 15 rebounds, off to a good start.

Clemson’s offer list for the 2022 class is now up to 17. Carruth becomes the 4th prospect offered at his position, while Banks is the 6th prospect at power forward. Clemson recently offered Carrboro PF Jai Smith, considered the 4th best player in the state of NC.
