Clemson Announces Inaugural Gymnastics Schedule
Clemson, S.C. — Clemson gymnastics head coach Amy Smith has announced the inaugural schedule for the upcoming 2024 season, which includes five home meets inside Littlejohn Coliseum.
2024 marks the Tigers’ first year of competition, as well as the first year of competition for the ACC, as gymnastics became the league’s 28th sponsored sport at the start of the academic year.
Single-meet tickets are now available to the public and can be purchased here. Season tickets are also still available and can be purchased here.
Fans will get their first look at the team on December 8, as the Tigers host Gymnastics 101. The intrasquad event is free of charge.
The Tigers will make history by hosting the first-official meet in the new year, opening the season on Friday, January 12, inside Littlejohn in an “Orange Out” against William & Mary at 7 p.m.
The Tigers begin the home ACC schedule against Pitt, designated as “Youth Day”, on January 21 at 4 p.m., a meet set to be televised on the ACC Network. The Tigers then hit the road for their first competition away from Littlejohn Coliseum, traveling to Chapel Hill, N.C., for a dual meet against North Carolina.
Clemson returns to Littlejohn on February 2, hosting NC State in a 7:30 p.m. meet to be shown on ACC Network. Clemson will host its annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day celebration at the NC State dual.
The Tigers then hit the road for back-to-back meets, traveling to Pitt on February 9 and NC State on February 16. Clemson then continues ACC action by welcoming North Carolina to Littlejohn on February 23 for Clemson’s first Pink Meet.
The Tigers will travel to Denton, Texas, on March 3, for a tri-meet with TWU and Oklahoma, before closing out the home portion of the schedule against Air Force on March 8. The final home meet has been designated as Senior Day, as well as Military Appreciation Day.
The final meet before postseason is a trip out to the West Coast, taking on UCLA and Stanford in a tri-meet at UCLA.
Postseason competition is slated for March 23 with the ACC Championships being held in Greensboro, N.C. NCAA Regionals are scheduled for April 3-7 at various locations and the NCAA Championship is set for April 18-20 in Fort Worth, Texas.
