4-star Alabama native TJ “Bull” Dudley has committed to the Clemson Tigers. Dudley might be considered the jewel of this 2nd signing period for Dabo Swinney and his staff.
Dudley, 6-1 220, is ranked as the 12th best player in the state of Alabama and the 23rd best linebacker in the 2022 class. He originally committed to Mario Cristobal at Oregon, but once he left for Miami, Dudley decommitted. He is joining former teammate Kylon Griffin to play for new defensive coordinator Wes Goodwin.
Dudley is literally a tackling machine. As a senior, Dudley led Montgomery Catholic High School to a 13-1 record, recording 138 tackles, including 29 for loss, and two sacks. With the loss of Baylon Spector and James Skalski in the middle of this defense, Dudley is coming in at the right time.
This talented linebacker had picked up a total of 30 offers, but chose the Tigers after getting late pushes from Miami and Oregon.
