Clemson has landed their first commitment for the 2023 class. WR Nathaniel Joseph out of Boca Raton, Florida, announced his choice today on the CBS sports HQ website.
Joseph had narrowed down his finalists to four; Clemson, Texas A&M, Florida State, and Florida. The 5-9 170 WR is a serious threat in the kick return game, both punts and kickoffs. Only a junior this year, he has pulled in 29 offers to date and even though he is now committed to the Clemson Tigers, he will still garner more offers.
247 Recruiting Analyst, Andrew Irvins:
“A playmaking slot receiver with an elite burst that doubles as a dangerous return man. He can attack the flats and turn short little drive routes into long gains. Joseph has the ability to quickly start/stop, making it difficult for defenders to corral him. He should emerge as a multi-year contributor given how he changes directions and releases from the inside. Joseph is likely to compete for a spot right away on both punt and kick return.”
